ACRRM

FACRRM or Fellowship or ACRRM is one of two vocational endpoints for GP Registrar training. The ACRRM qualification aims to recognise doctors who are capable of working with a high degree of professional independence with a particular focus on rural and remote medicine.
The FACRRM training qualification is offered as part the AGPT program, delivered through Sturt Fleurieu (ACRRM accredited) to gain access to training, education and support at private general practices and community settings.

ACRRM Accredited Practices

Many of Sturt Fleurieu’s training practices are eligible to apply for accreditation by ACRRM to be able to deliver training towards the FACRRM for those registrars interested in achieving this important rural GP qualification. The practice must satisfy the standards for accreditation which are detailed on the ACRRM website.

Accreditation requires an application to ACRRM after which provisional accreditation is generally granted. Full accreditation can be achieved following a practice visit by an approved ACRRM liaison officer or designated assessor. The assessor will make recommendations to the ACRRM board and following ratification by the board, full accreditation will be granted.

The liaison officer / accreditor for Sturt Fleurieu is Dr Peter Clements.

The following practices are accredited by ACRRM:
