Team

Sturt Fleurieu has a training team consisting of the Director of Training and 7 regional medical educators. All are experienced GPs. Our training team is complemented by over 45 accredited GP supervisors throughout the region. 

The role of the regional medical educators to help registrars achieve their learning objectives in accordance with the vocational curriculum standards and requirements set by the relevant professional colleges, RACGP and ACRRM, provide advice on training needs and undertake External Clinical Teaching (ECT) and Training Appraisal (TA) Visits.

These people are supported by a dedicated group of professional staff comprising the Education and Training Group located at Strathalbyn.
