a) Description of practice location Located on Brighton Road at popular beachside South Brighton, we are also a short distance from Flinders Medical Centre and Marion Shopping Centre.
b) Health and medical information about the region  A 'Lifestyle' suburb, Brighton and surrounds are made up of a diverse population ages from families and a healthy aged population.
c) Practice type and size This family General Practice has a warm friendly environment with dedicated staff and delightful patients.

Our clinical team includes of 5 partner doctors, 5 employmed doctors, 1 registrar doctor and 7 practice nurses.

Our Administration team includes our CEO, practice manager and 9 receptionists. We also have two people employed in a maintenance and practice hygiene role.

a) Access to specialists and other health professionals The Kingston Family Clinic enhoys direct onsite access to many allied health professionals including physiotherapy, podiatry, pathology, counseling and psychology. We also have a number of other partnerships with local health professionals and are a short drive from Flinders Medical and Specialist Centres.

David retains a passion for medicine to which he takes a whole patient approach with speical interests in allergy and skin cancer diagnosis and surgery. With a long history of involvement in state and national medical organisations; he can guide you to many other areas of medical interest and involvement. He has presented nationally on topics as diverse as point of care testing and business management for registrars.

Dr Richard Johns
MBBS FRACGP
Richard has been involved in General Practice in the Brighton region for over 25 years enabling him to serve his interest in providing continuity and whole patient and family care. He has been involved in various aspects of GP education ranging from GP supervision to policy and planning at a board level since the inception of SFGPET. This gels with several years as the continuing Professional Development Advisor for General Practice Network South. He has survived the somewhat nerve-wracking experience of sitting the fellowship exam in 2008 as a part of the MAP program and subsequently becoming a college examiner.
Facilities offered by practice The accredited practice enjoys modern consultation rooms and is fully computerised.

Our Practice policy is to porvide our clinical staff with quality clinical and diagnostic equipment which is reflected in the provision of the treatment room with ECG, spirometry, excision and procedures area, dressing and wound management area and a new dedicated childrens immunisation room.

The waiting room is fitted with two plasma TV's with foxtel programming, a beautifully painted childrens play area and comfortable spacing for patients.

Our Kingston room provides a board room facility for meetings and a place to escape for lunches and coffee breaks.
