SMC is located just off Diagonal Road, close to Westfield Marion with its many shops and theatre complex and the recently started State Aquatic Centre. We are an inner South Western suburb at the base of the Southern Expressway close to the beaches and hills. |

As the practice has been established in this area more than 40 years we are in the privileged position to care for several generations of the same families. Our local area has a varied demographic as it is now evolving in to an area with a younger family population due to the popularity of in-fill housing. We are fortunate to have a pharmacy located next door. Flinders Medical centre is nearby with its access to public and private specialists. |

The medical centre is a purpose built building with 4 well equipped consulting rooms and a treatment room. We are staffed by 5 GPs (4 female, 1 male). 3 nurses and well supported by our 4 administration staff. We are a friendly and cheerful practice, committed to GP training; both registrars and 1st and 3rd year students from Flinders University. |

Having been a part of the community for many years SMC is well served by many specialists and other health professionals. Our doctors are completely autonomous in their decision making with regards to patient referral, and our location close to Flinders Medical Centre ensures that a high number of specialists and other health providers are in close proximity. There are Pathology services available on site and also nearby Marion Shopping Centre. |

Our doctors have special interests including shared care, palliative care, pain management, diabetes management, women's health, counselling, sports medicine, aged care and procedural medicine. With a high proportion of young families in the area there are a large number of paediatric patients also. |
