Broad ranging community with young families as well as elderly. Local industrial areas provide occupational health experience. Full spectrum of the population is seen with areas of disadvantage and poor health as well as an Aboriginal population. |

Large practice with up to 12 doctors working at various times. Six Capital Partners, two Associate Partners, employee doctors as well as registrars. Over 50,000 patient records on file. Active teaching practice. Well backed up by extensive support staff consisting of:
- Practice Manager
- 15 Reception and administration staff
- 5 registered nurses and 2 enrolled nurses
Workload is flexible to suit individual doctors' needs and nature of practice. Casualty service is available to treat patients without appointments. Doctors undertake home visits and nursing home visits as per their individual arrangement. Hospital work also including: minor surgical procedures including skin flaps and skin grafts for management of skin cancer this is undertaken in a dedicated operating theatre. ECG, spirometry, slit lamp, cyrotherapy, diathermy, soft tissue laser treatment, ambulatory blood pressure machine, ABI doppler machine, ear syringe are also available. Full range of medical services provided including skin cancer surgery, occupational health, immunisations, dressings etc. Two nurses dedicated to undertaking health assessments. Pharmacy and pathology service available during practice opening hours. Fully computerised medical records with internal electronic communication, full recall and audit systems for pathology etc in place.
