Description of practice location

Hallet Cove Corner Surgery is located approximately 23kms away from the city of Adelaide and approximately 1km from the coast. The practice is situated in an area which has a varied population ranging from a large number of young families to a growing number of elderly residents. Hallet Cove is a very pleasant seaside suburb. Recently, the addition of a large shopping complex has added interest to the area, boasting delightful restaurants, cafes and coffee shops, clothing stores, two supermarkets and a department store, all just outside out back door. The surrounding suburbs of Sheidow Park and Trott Park are growing rapidly as young families and retirees move south.

On-site and after-hours supervision to meet professional standards Dr Jenkins is on site during our normal working hours and Saturday mornings. We do not have any after hours work.
Provision is made for registrars to attend education activities Registrars who are required to attend meetings, mini release appointments and other education events are given time as needed.
Access to clinical resources/reference materials We have many hard copy resources together with electronic resources and reference materials e.g.  Bandolier, Red Book, Murtagh.
Adequate consulting space, IT facilities and equipment for registrar Our registrars are given a designated room for their stay at the practice. This enables them to become familiar with their surroundings and to set up the room to their own needs. We have Medical Director and Zedmed computer packages which work together to give ease of access to patient notes, appointment bookings, patient details etc.
