Upcoming Health Event: Anxiety Disorder in GP

Anxiety disorders are the most common mental disorders in Australia. One in four people will experience an anxiety disorder at some stage of their lives. Registrars are invited to attend a two day workshop to manage presentations of this leading health issue in general practice.

This 'Advanced Management of Anxiety Disorders' workshop will be held on 27th to 28th August at 5/34 Hallett Rd, Stonyfell, South Australia. This free workshop is funded by a RACGP grant. Upcoming Event: Perinatal Mental Health Training - 14th August

Research indicates the prevalence of perinatal depression in Australia warrants a national approach to improved screening, assessment and coordinated care to address depression and related difficulties in women during pregnancy and early parenthood.  

  

A free Perinatal Mental Health training session will take place on the 4th August 2011 at West Lakes. To attend, please fill out and return the attached enrolment form (via email) as soon as possible.
